RECENT PROGRAMME

Poshan Campaign


14 Sept. 2018, a programme was organized at jhilay distt. Tonk on Poshan 'Aao Sunishchit Kare' supported by TATA Trust with anganwadi worker, Asha and villagers . A total of 200 with survice providers participated in the awareness campaign. Active participation in the gathering was reflected by the eagerness of women discussing their personal experiences with regard to health and poshan issues. Smt. Roli Singh Secretary administration of women and Child development Deptt. Jaipur, Surpanch Gram Panchayat Jhilai, sub Divisonal Majistrate Newai Block were chief guests in the campaign and he expressed massages to motivate for demand of health services. Mr. Rahul State Co- ordinator of TATA Trust awared to participant for gap intervention in services. In the programme discussed on Immunization, Child heath, motherhood, poshan and Govt.schemes.

Financial Literacy


In collaboration with NIIT and Vodafone Foundation , SVS organized Financial Litracy programme for Community, Schools and MANREGA places in Tonk & Sawai Madhopur Distt. Financial Litracy programme `Jadu Ginni Ka ` conducted through projector and Laptop in 4000 benificieries of community and school students. They awared about Daily diary, Saving, banking loan process, different pension and insurance schemes, approach to govt schemes, importancy of money in emergency time etc. Mr. Surya Kant Banergee NIIT foundation, Smt. Pooja Katariya , Mr. Styabir Singh , Munna Lal Rao, Kishan Singh from SVS were the Resource Persons who imparted knowledge and information regarding financial aspects. Mr. Surya Kant Banargee representative NIIT Foundation reviewed the programme and meeting conducted with project staff on effective output , continuously process and project outcome.

Mother & Child Health


SVS organized a programme on Mother & Child heath Vitamin A supplement supported by Vitamin Angels in 4 villages in Tonk Distt. The Vitamin Angels provided support in kind ( Vitamin A supplements) . Meeting conducted in villages, Gram Panchayats and anganwadi centers and awared to its objectives and process. In the beginning Munna Lal Rao, Smt. Pooja Katariya participated in one day training programme organized by Vitamin Angels.In the training programme imparted knowldge abour distribution viamin supplements, albendajole and process of work. Mr. Guru Prasad Hota trained to NGO,s representatives at Jaipur.

Self Help Group Programme


In collaboration with NABARD Jaipur and Jila Parishad Tonk , SVS has formed 350 SHGs in the Niwai and Piploo block of Tonk District. These SHGs was spread over total 41 panchayats covering 260 villages. Monthly meetings of SHGs were conducted by SVS regularly. SHG members were made acquainted on availing bank loans and many SHGs availed bank loans .

SVS selected 100 SHG out of 350 SHG,s and decided to work with selected SHG for loaning process. These 100 SHGs are involved in the trade of livestock, nutritive food and Paper- Mache work. Need based programes organized for SHG,s as capacity building. Leadership training, book keeping and awareness activities. Functioning of Self Help Groups among the rural women, specially of backward castes continued during the year. Giving loan to the women in their needs and making them economically self reliant through vocational training and forming new SHG was part of the project. Repayment of loan was quite satisfactory among the women, which show their interest.

Farmers Club Programmes


20 Farmer clubs were formed in the 20 villages of Newai Block of Tonk Distt. In 2013-14 and now 25 Farmers Club were established in collaboration with NABARD in 2014-15 in Tonk. Thus at present total 45 farmers clubs are in 45 villages of Tonk Distt. All the farmers clubs are linked with Banks. 667 farmers are the members of these 45 Farmers Clubs. Base level Orientation training, Meet with experts and awareness programmes oranised for Farmers Clubs in guidance of Executive officers Agriculture Department.

The Resource person awarded to farmers about schemes and innovative technologies in related issues like as – Baking involvement, Savings, Animal husbandry, Farm pond, composting, Agriculture instruments, low cost crops, organic farming, Ajola for animals, multi layer farming and subsidized fertilizers etc. Follo up programme organized for Vermi – Compost units in villages which established in past year.

Micro Insurance Programme


Samuhik Vikas Sansthan has organized some promotional activities in Newai block for Life Insurance Corporation of India in the form of meetings & street plays. SVS has introduced the fruitful Micro-insurance scheme named as Jeewan Madhur , Jeevan Mangal and Bhagya Laxmi Policy of LIC-India. Organization successfully disseminated the information regarding the savings & life security advantages of Jeewan Madhur Policy. The enthusiastic efforts of SVS produced 732 policies with a majority of women policy holders.

Death claim provided to 4 policies holder in village, Sajiya, Maharajpura, Gunsi of Newai block. Their nominies and family members received support and thanked for joint efforts.

Land Degradation Programmes


On 17 June 2018 a meeting organized with farmers in Bidoli and Jodhpuriya on Land Degradation 'World day to Combat Desertification' under the auspices of Gram Vikas Bharati , Amber and UNCCD, Zermany. On this sensitive issues discussed about water conservation, Land Degradation, pollution and Environment, Save the earth, Composting, Westland, plantation, Organic farming and animal husbandary etc. SVS representative Munna Lal Rao, Mohan Lal sensitised to save the natural resources by joint efforts. They awred by Govt. schemes related agricultural activities like as – farm pond, Subsidised tools and seeds, plantation, demonstration avtivities by deptt.

Womens Day Programme


Womens Day organised on 8 March 2018 at Bidoli Panchayat in Tonk. In this programe attracted over 40 womens participate. They were provided information and fasaliteted about gender , Panchayatiraj, Social, Economical, Political, Cultural right and local issues. Participent suggested about water conservation, health, employment and local issues.

Womens Leadership Training


The major objectives of the programme were to sensitize and inform the women from poor and marginalized communities who are actively taking part in economic and social decision- making through SHGs about the various aspects of human rights. Such programmes for the women facilitate the empowerment of women in society by generating awareness among those who participate and further take it to more members through their active interaction in the society. Various Acts and UN conventions related to human rights such as Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993; The Bonded Labour System (Abolition ) Act, 1976; Child Labour Issues & Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986; SC/ST issues & S Liberties Act, 1988 & The Forest Rights Act, 2006; UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, 1979 and UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, 1989 and its optional protocols were among the main topics of the training.

On 12 December 2018, the training programme was organized at Modi Vishram Bhavan, Newai. A total of 116 women members of twenty different SHGs of Newai district participated in the training programme. The participants representing seven villages of the Tonk district . Active participation in the gathering was reflected by the eagerness of women discussing their personal experiences with regard to right to education, voting rights, child marriage etc. Also, the group representing the varied age class i.e. below 20 to above 50 years of women members.
Training programme organized in four different sessions was conducted by the resource persons viz, Mrs. Ruchi, Mrs.Pushpa Rajvanshi, Mr. Munnalal Rao and Dr. Jacob John. Introducing the theme of the training programme.

Right To Information Programme


SVS has conducted numerous meetings regarding enhancement of the awareness towards RTI Act amongst populace of its working area. SVS had given full details about RTI to its beneficiaries in simplified manner. As a result, now everyone is aware about his right to obtain any kind of information from any department irrespective any caste or creed. SVS has actively participated in the activities organized on Right To Information Act. Applicants who had applied under RTI act to obtain information in need based schemes . Four applicants have received desired information on the above and rest applications are under process.

On 12 December 2017, the training programme was organized at Modi Vishram Bhavan, Newai. Mr. Ajay Dixit, Labour education board Jaipur inaugurated the training programme. A total of 40 women members of Newai Block participated in the training programme. The Active participation in the gathering was reflected by the eagerness of women discussing their personal experiences with regard to right to education, voting rights, child marriage, Insurance, Labour registration etc.
