Samuhik Vikas Sansthan (SVS) is a non government and non political voluntary organization. SVS was legally registered under Rajasthan Societies registration Act 1958 in 2000. Its registration number is 701/Jaipur/2000-2001. It was established by working in association with some like minded organizations & government programs.

The NGO has started its work in the development sector since 22 years. It has been working for the well being of disadvantaged sections of Rajasthan particularly in the Tonk & Sawai Madhopur Districts. Presently, SVS is working in Tonk & Sawai Madhopur District.

Keeping in view of the time bound nature of projects, SVS has stepped-in a Process Oriented Approach from Project based approach, so as to sustain the programs effectively in the field. In the project based approach, activities are of short term nature with pre determined start and end points. So there is not a big scope of sustainability of activities carried out in the project area. To leave a positive mark in the society it is very essential to ensure the continuity of projects. SVS has taken up this challenge by changing its previous implementing strategy of project based approach into a process oriented approach.

SVS is committed to reduce socio-economic inequalities in the community through mobilization and awareness activities. SVS has organised project / programs like as- Micro Finance, Farmers Club, Micro Entrepreneurship Development, Safe Motherhood & Child Survival, Early Childhood Development & School Feeding, National Environment Awareness, Legal & Safe Abortion, Right To Information (RTI), Community Health Monitoring, Swarn Jayanti Gramin Swarojgar Yojna (SGSY), Livelihood & Pastureland Development, Micro Insurance, Pre-election Gender Awareness Programme for Voters, Composting etc. At present we are working on Financial Litracy, Poshan Campaign, Self Helf Group, Mother & child health, Micro Insurance and need based awareness activities.
