WELCOME

Samuhik Vikas Sansthan (SVS) is a non government and non political voluntary organization. SVS was legally registered under Rajasthan Societies registration Act 1958 in 2000. The NGO has started its work in the development sector since 20 years. It has been working for the well being of disadvantaged sections of Rajasthan particularly in the Tonk and Sawai Madhopur Districts. Presently, SVS is working in Tonk District.

SVS has stepped into Process Oriented Approach from project oriented base, so as to sustain the programs effectively in the field. In the project based approach, activities are of short term nature with pre determined start and end points. So there is not a big scope of sustainability of activities carried out in the project area. To leave a positive mark in the society it is very essential to ensure the continuity of projects.

SVS has taken up this challenge by converting its previous implementing strategy of project based approach into a process oriented approach.SVS is committed to reduce socio-economic inequalities in the community through mobilization and awareness activities. The core programs of this organization are, Micro Insurance, Self help group programme‚ Micro Finance, Farmers Club, Micro Entrepreneurship, Land degradation and need based awareness programmes.
